Films Discourse is an independent website about Indian cinema and entertainment. We track how films perform at the box office, before and after release, and write about films, series and reality shows for people who follow them closely.

How we work
Our advance booking numbers come from our own tracking of shows in cities across India, collected and added up by us. Box office figures are compiled from producer and trade reports and checked against our own tracking. Every figure says what it covers (for example India nett, before GST, in ₹ crore) and when it was last updated, and we correct numbers as more complete information comes in.
Our articles and reviews are written by our team. Opinions in reviews are the writer's own. Figures in our articles are our own estimates unless we say otherwise.
Corrections
If you spot a wrong figure or a mistake in an article, please tell us at hello@filmsdiscourse.com. We fix errors as quickly as we can.
